The Wabi-Sabi Society

Wabi-sabi is a Japanese way of life and perspective focusing on the acknowledgement and appreciation of the "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete." Thus the Wabi-Sabi Society is a collection of passionate creatives who produce artistic experiences rooted in this philosophy. Our performances and compositions are brief moments that captivate the senses, trigger one's curiosity, and help discover/develop one's creative identity. Each is never without flaws and impossible to repeat... embodying the essence of wabi-sabi.

The Wabi-Sabi Society is an evolving collection of people organizing pop up performances, movement experiments, and interactive dance experiences around the city.

Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry. Keep things clean and unencumbered but don’t sterilize.
